Private Parties
Close-up moments, roaming energy and feature performance for dinners, estates and celebrations.
PLAY / INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCE
Play through movement, timing and the physics behind a live performance — then see how the same practice changes across different rooms.
L.A.-based curated performance company / available nationwide
We use juggling as performance, science and social practice. Tell us what needs to happen in the room — we curate the right format, people and level of participation.
You do not need to know which performer or format to hire. Send us the event, audience, objective, atmosphere and budget. SEJT builds from the room outward.
Tell us what needs to happenCurated juggling, object manipulation and movement designed around attention, atmosphere and live energy.
ENERGY / HIGH PULSE 02 / SCIENCEPhysics, mathematics, timing and embodied learning — from schools and museums to interactive public programs.
CLARITY / CURIOSITY 03 / SOCIALArtist-led social circus for teams, schools, institutions, nonprofits and communities. Process before perfection.
CONNECTION / SHARED PRACTICE01 / PERFORMANCE
The performance is selected for the room. A cocktail hour, a fashion launch, a museum floor and a school assembly do not need the same energy — even when the discipline is the same.
THE BETTER BRIEF
Tell us what needs to happen in the room.Close-up moments, roaming energy and feature performance for dinners, estates and celebrations.
Arrival, cocktail hour, transition moments and destination celebrations that need a live pulse.
Visual movement, custom object language and performance designed to live inside a launch or activation.
Programming for lobbies, restaurants, pools, terraces, openings and guest experiences.
Stage features, ambient performance, receptions and interactive formats for teams and guests.
Public programs, cultural spaces and events where movement can become spectacle, inquiry or participation.
ONE SKILL / MANY ROOMS
SEJT does not force one act into every context. The same practice can become spectacle, demonstration, conversation or collective learning depending on what the room needs.
Roaming work can create a pulse while conversation continues.
Flight time, apex, rhythm and pattern become embodied STEM material.
Dropping, repeating, observing and trying again become a shared process.
Object, costume, rhythm and distance become part of the visual language.
Performance can shift between spectacle and explanation without losing either.
The goal is not to produce the best juggler. The practice creates attention, dialogue and collective inquiry.
02 / SCIENCE LAB
Every throw is a trajectory. Every catch manages impulse. Every pattern is a timing system. We use the science because it makes the practice more interesting — and because it creates a second way into the work.
SCENE 01 / THE THROW
A throw creates time. The higher the object travels, the more room the hands have to do something else.
SCIENCE / PRINCIPLES
Projectile motion explains the arc. Angular momentum explains spinning clubs. Impulse and soft catches manage force. Siteswap notation describes timing relationships between throws. The point is not to turn performance into a lecture — it is to reveal the intelligence already inside the movement.
HOW SEJT WORKS
SEJT reduces the client's need to self-diagnose. You bring the situation; we translate it into the right performance, learning or participation format.
Audience, room, objective, atmosphere, timing, budget and constraints.
We decide whether the need is spectacle, education, participation, or a combination.
Performer, ensemble, lab, workshop, social practice or custom visual.
Schedule, technical needs, interaction level, safety, aesthetics and logistics.
One direction, selected practitioners, and a format built around the objective.
PRIVATE ROSTER / APPLY
SEJT works with selected jugglers, object manipulators, movement artists and facilitators. We are interested in technical control, strong visual identity, professionalism and the ability to understand context — not just tricks.
Submitting does not guarantee placement. The roster stays private and project-specific.

03 / SOCIAL
Not a trick class. A shared practice.
SEJT SOCIAL is artist-led social circus for businesses, institutions, schools, nonprofits, communities and teams. It uses juggling as a concrete practice for attention, repetition, dialogue and learning together.
NOT DIAGNOSTIC. NOT THERAPY. NOT A COMPETITION. COLLECTIVE INQUIRY THROUGH PRACTICE.
Problem-posing, not lecturing.
Participants observe what is happening, name what they notice and build understanding through dialogue rather than receiving a fixed interpretation.
Process before perfection.
The object gives the group something concrete to work with. Dropping is information. Progress is shared, visible and embodied.
Learning lives in the body.
Try, adjust, repeat. The practice makes attention, coordination, frustration and cooperation observable without turning them into abstract slogans.
Inspired by dialogical pedagogy and social-circus practice, SEJT SOCIAL is designed as facilitated collective inquiry. The artist leads the exercise; the group produces the meaning.
